We are now seeking to employ Senior Occupational Therapists as a part of the Clinical Support Services department to join the Autism SA family.

The Senior Occupational therapist will be responsible for but not limited to :

  • Delivering therapy and intervention services for individuals and their families in a variety of settings that reflect current best practice in the area of therapy and intervention
  • Coordinating caseloads and prioritising referrals
  • Providing clinical supervision and support for staff or students
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, which may include service providers from other sectors
  • Providing newly developed programs and materials (as appropriate) and review of existing processes, programs and materials

 Along with AHPRA registration, to be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

Essential:

  • A minimum of 4 years Occupational Therapy experience
  • Evidence of ongoing Professional Development in the area of Autism Spectrum

 Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a Senior or leadership role
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team

These positions are 12 month fixed term contracts with the possibility of extension

The positions will based in Netley - but there will be opportunity to be based in Elizabeth in future - providing services to metropolitan regions within Adelaide.
